Commission Policy
Last updated: March 2026
1. Payment
A 50% non-refundable downpayment is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon completion, before the final file or physical artwork is released.
Accepted payment methods:
- GCash (preferred)
- PayPal
- GoTyme
I will not begin work until the downpayment is confirmed. Payment details will be shared after we agree on the commission details.
2. Revisions
Up to 2 minor revisions are included at no extra cost. A "minor revision" means small adjustments to an existing area โ not a complete redo or change of subject.
Major changes requested after work has begun may incur additional fees, which will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding.
If you are still unsatisfied after 2 revision rounds and the work faithfully followed the agreed brief and reference, a 20% discount will be offered on your next commission instead of a refund.
3. Refunds & Cancellations
The 50% downpayment is non-refundable once work has begun, as it covers time, materials, and effort already invested.
If you need to cancel before I have started work, the downpayment may be applied as credit toward a future commission at my discretion.
If I am unable to complete the commission for any reason on my end, a full refund of all payments made will be issued.
4. Turnaround Time
Estimated completion times are guidelines, not guarantees. Actual time may vary based on complexity, queue position, and circumstances.
- Charcoal Portrait โ 5โ10 days
- Colored Pencil Portrait โ 7โ14 days
- Watercolor Painting โ 5โ10 days
- Oil Pastel Portrait โ 7โ14 days
- Video Editing โ varies by project
Rush commissions are available for an additional fee: +50% for 3โ5 day turnaround, +100% for 1โ2 day turnaround. Subject to availability โ message me to check.
I will keep you updated throughout the process and will notify you of any delays.
5. Ownership & Usage Rights
You, as the client, receive:
- The physical artwork (for traditional pieces), shipped to your address
- A high-resolution digital scan for personal use โ printing, framing, gifting, sharing on social media
You may not:
- Resell the artwork or digital file for commercial profit
- Claim the artwork as your own creation
- Use the artwork for commercial purposes (branding, merchandise, advertising) without a separate commercial license agreement
I, as the artist, retain the right to:
- Share photos and timelapses of the completed artwork on my social media, portfolio, and promotional materials
- Credit the piece as part of my body of work
If you prefer the artwork to remain private and not be shared publicly, please let me know before we begin. I will honor that request at no extra charge.
6. Reference Photos
Please provide a clear, well-lit reference photo where the subject's face is fully visible. The quality of the reference directly affects the quality of the portrait.
By sending a reference photo, you confirm you have the right to use that photo for this purpose (i.e., it's your photo, or you have permission from the subject).
Send references via Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox, or any downloadable link.
7. Shipping & Delivery
Physical artworks are shipped via LBC Express, Lalamove, or Grab. Shipping fees are the responsibility of the client and are not included in the commission price.
Once the artwork has been handed to the courier, I am not liable for damage, loss, or delays caused by the shipping service. I will provide tracking information as soon as it is available.
Digital files (scans and video edits) are delivered via Google Drive in high resolution โ no extra cost.
8. Right to Decline
I reserve the right to respectfully decline any commission request that falls outside my current skills, availability, or personal comfort โ including but not limited to: sensitive subject matter, extremely tight deadlines, or requests I do not feel I can execute to a standard I'm satisfied with.
If I decline, no payment will be taken.
